1. Customer Data Responsibilities (Website)
- Delete customer data you no longer need (forms, orders, bookings).
- Restrict who can see customer information inside your systems.
- Have a simple process for customer data requests.
- Never email passwords or sensitive personal data.
- Never share sensitive customer information on messaging apps.
2. Access & Permissions (Website)
- Use Editor accounts for everyday website work.
- Request Administrator access only when absolutely needed.
- Remove staff accounts when people leave the business.
- Turn on two factor authentication where possible.
- Never share login accounts between staff.
3. Everyday Cyber Habits (Computer/Phone)
- Educate all staff via Cybersecurity Awareness training.
- Use strong, unique passwords stored in a password manager.
- Pause before clicking suspicious links or attachments.
- Keep all devices updated (phones, laptops, tablets)
- Know who to contact quickly if something looks wrong.
- Keep a Disaster Recover document with important procedures, names and contacts.
