IT Helpdesk Scam

We have received a phishing email from “IT Helpdesk” which claims a password has expired. It resembles an Office 365 styled email and has an “Action Required” alert with a link to “Keep the Same Password”.

This is a scam due to all the tell tale signs of a phishing scam :-

• unexpected nature
• sense of urgency
• links to unknown website
• different fonts

We recommend you make your staff aware of this scam and then delete the email.
