Blacknight Phishing Scam

Alert – Please be aware of a phishing email scam circulating that looks like a Blacknight with the title “Your Domain Name Has Expired”. The intention of the scammer is to get the receiver to click on “Renew Your Domain Link” which links to a suspicious website which may be loaded with a malware package.

This is a SCAM email because :-

• Sender Email Address  – not genuine
• Greeting – Dear Customer is too generic
• Grammar – Spelling and spacing mistakes
• Urgency – False sense of urgency to act to avoid disruption
